The Industrial Division offers a range of diesel, petrol and gas engines from some of the world’s leading manufacturers including Yanmar, John Deere, Kawasaki and Toyota. The renowned reputation of all these brands enable Barrus to meet the exacting demands of original equipment manufacturers for high quality and performance, durability and reliability in operation and the capability of meeting all current off-highway emission regulations.

The division has been highly successful in introducing these brands into numerous market sectors with applications in construction, telecommunications, agriculture and forestry, military, railways and transport refrigeration.

A core competency of the Division is its flexible approach to customer’s needs, providing specialist engineering support for both one-off projects and volume production. Application testing is also a vital part of the service enabling the customer to have access to accurate data to determine how an engine might perform in use. 

The division has recently expanded its portfolio of power solutions by offering a range of Toyota gas engines. These engines are suitable for numerous applications including power generation, material handling, utility and access equipment.
