Barrus takes over UK distribution from Bavanar Products

E P Barrus Ltd, one of the UK’s leading distributors of brands in the marine, automotive, industrial and garden machinery markets, has announced a further major development to its motorcycle range with a distribution deal for the Hyosung range.

The addition of the Hyosung brand moves E P Barrus into the large capacity motorcycle market and adds to a number of recent developments which has seen Barrus enhance it’s range with new sport and enduro bikes from Rieju, scooters from PGO and quad bikes from Dinli.

The Hyosung range includes a host of new models such as the all new GV 650 that offers the sophisticated style of a true sports cruiser in a modern package. With its relaxed riding position and powerful 650cc engine transmitted through a 5-speed gearbox and belt drive it provides the GV 650 with fantastic performance combined with the reassurance of large disk brakes and adjustable rear shock absorbers.

The GT650 is offered in naked, part faired and fully faired options, each with 300mm double disks, re-designed front brakes (with adjustable brake lever), upside down front forks and adjustable footrests. The GT125R has a V-Twin DOHC 8 valve, oil and air-cooled engine, developing 14.6HP. The bike comes complete with upside down front forks, digital instruments, manual rev counter and large front brakes.

The new Barrus Hyosung range also includes the already well known RX125 Enduro Trail Bike and RT 125 “Sand Bike”.
