Cub Cadet AllRounder voted ‘Star Buy’ – The Daily Telegraph
The Cub Cadet AllRounder 50 has been voted the 'Star Buy' in the 'Tried & Tested' ride on lawnmower feature in The Daily Telegraph, June 2009.
According to the Daily Telegraph, “It does exactly what it says on the box – a great all-round mulch mower with impressive versatility,”
The Cub Cadet AllRounder 50 tractor has been engineered and built to take on the all types of terrain with the manoeuvrability to access the most awkward places. If you have large areas of grass to maintain with many obstacles to encounter, the Cub Cadet AllRounder provides the ideal solution.
The AllRounder features the innovative, time saving benefit of zero turn technology with a steering wheel which enables easy mowing around trees and obstacles and the wide stance of the machine ensures good stability. Small hills and inclines are no problem for the AllRounder – the STS (Synchronised Traction System), a patented control unit synchronises the steering of the front wheels and speed of the rear wheels. Dual Hydrogear transmissions provide positive two wheel traction and a cast iron wide track front axle provides increased durability and stability while articulating to follow the contour of the terrain.
Cub Cadet are high performance, premium machines combining innovation with engineering excellence and build quality. Fitted with a 23hp Kohler twin cylinder overhead valve engine, this professional grade engine offers excellent power, quiet and reliable operation and longer life. The 3-in-1, 50”/127cm cutting deck, will mulch and side discharge with the optional fitting of a twin bag collection system. The deck is fitted with heavy duty greasable deck spindles for longer life and heavy duty deck wheels built to withstand the toughest mowing conditions to ensure the deck floats over uneven ground.
Attachments for the AllRounder include the twin bag collection system, and a snow blade.
Barrus has recently supplied an AllRounder 50 to the E. J Churchill Shooting Ground, West Wycombe, one of the most prestigious shooting grounds in the country. Brian Hunter, Head Groundsman comments, “The Cub Cadet AllRounder is a truly versatile machine with the ability to deal with leaves, general debris, and of course, day to day grass cutting. The fact that it is zero turn adds to the versatility as it is equally as good in small, restricted areas as it is on large lawns and paddocks. Its robust construction means that even the clay pigeon debris gets broken up and spread on the grass!”
