Barrus carries over 60,000 lines as spare parts inventory company-wide and has a team dedicated to Shire genuine parts.
To manage these parts, we have invested in eight Kardex Shuttles which carry over 22,000 lines with a combined capacity of around 17 tonnes. This, paired with Optimiza inventory management software to measure projected availability, ensures we can fulfil a high percentage of orders quickly from stock.
Spare parts are core to our business, so orders are processed within 20 minutes and those received by 4pm are despatched on the same day for next day delivery.
Authorised dealers can make use of our electronic parts ordering portal, DIAL 247, which is also an electronic parts catalogue. The system offers instant access to live information including stock availability, order entry, back order status and order history.

Our dedicated technical support team is available to you throughout the life of your engine and can even offer advice when the decision arises to repower or rebuild your Shire engine. The specialist network of authorised dealers is also on hand to offer support and advice as and when you need it.
