Mercury Marine extends Warranty Terms and Maintenance Intervals by 90 days
Published on: 13/05/2020
We are pleased to communicate an announcement by Mercury Marine in EMEA which recognises the unprecedented conditions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. They are supporting the Mercury and Mariner dealer networks and their customers by ensuring that the processing of outstanding maintenance appointments are afforded additional time and warranty terms extended.
Warranty Terms - 90-day extension
Mercury is honouring all factory warranties and extended warranties which have already expired or will expire between April 1, 2020, and June 30, 2020, by extending them by 90 days. This warranty expiration date applies to all Mercury and Mariner Marine propulsion engines, including all outboards, MerCruiser and diesel engines.
Maintenance Interval Appointments - 90-day extension
For outboard engines with a recommended servicing interval within the same period as above, and to keep the engines eligible in the extended warranty period, Mercury is extending the maintenance appointment by 90 days. The maintenance logs will be automatically accepted if they are uploaded to the Extranet within the period July 1, 2020, and September 30, 2020
Customers can contact their local Mercury or Mariner Authorised Service Dealers to make to plan their extended maintenance appointment.
