Loncin is gaining ground in the rental sector
Published on: 04/02/2020
Barrus will be introducing the expanded range of Loncin inverter and open-frame generator sets at the Executive Hire Show, and showcasing the latest Loncin engine, and pump ranges.
The Loncin inverter generator series now includes 8 models ranging from 2 kW to 8 kW, and 7 open-frame generator sets from 1.6 kW to 7.3 kW. Fuel efficient with reduced emissions, they offer the ideal, durable and reliable portable power supply.
The LC7000i is the latest inverter generator from Loncin. This compact, low noise, variable speed generator is rated at 8hp (6.0kW). Fuel efficient, this high-quality power output machine has the benefit of low fuel consumption keeping operating costs to a minimum. The LC7000i can last for 6.5 hours on a tank of fuel running continuously under normal power. Environmentally-friendly and meeting the latest EU Stage V emission standards, the added benefit of sine wave technology allows these generators to run the most power-sensitive electrical equipment. There is also the option to run the inverters in parallel operation, providing double the power output for more demanding appliances.
The LC10000-AS is now the largest of the open-frame generator sets rated at 10hp (7.3 kW). The strong construction of the frame provides protection for the engine and fuel tank. The smooth-running wheels and rubber grip handles on the larger models make these generators much easier to move around. The automatic voltage regulator (AVR) is a feature on all the open-frame models automatically maintaining generator output terminal voltage at a set value under varying load and operating temperatures.
“Loncin is growing in the rental sector through tool hire and equipment specialists who are supplying Loncin generator sets and pumps for hire,” commented John Day, General Manager for the Industrial Engines Division at Barrus. “The use of Loncin engines as a repower option is also growing as the rental companies seek to maximise their return on older equipment.”
Key Services based in Coventry, a Loncin dealer with over 45 years’ experience serving the construction industry with high-quality equipment and a repair and reconditioning service, is a great ambassador for Loncin. “We know how important speed is to the construction business and our team focuses on keeping the most popular small petrol engines in stock,” commented James Jordan, owner of Key Services. “Our main partner is Loncin who manufactures reliable and efficient small petrol engines for numerous industries. The quality of Loncin products, coupled with the wide choice at a reasonable price makes them superior in our opinion. Loncin wins on all fronts.” James concluded.
