THE OPPORTUNITY

• Strategy & Innovation: Define and execute product strategy; drive category innovation and sustainability integration.
• Lifecycle Management: Oversee ideation, prototyping, testing, sourcing, and production.
• Market Insight: Conduct research to uncover trends, identify gaps, and capitalise on opportunities.
• Go-To-Market: Develop effective strategies in partnership with Sales and Marketing teams.
• Analytics: Manage product performance, seasonal forecasting, and trend analysis.

REQUIREMENTS

Professional Experience:

• Minimum 5 years' experience in Category Management.
• Previous Buying/Product Management experience (working with Far Eastern suppliers is essential).
• Proven skills in pricing, forecasting, and supply chain/purchasing.

Key Skills Sought:

• Strong financial/accounting knowledge (margins, GP, and discounts).
• Excellent negotiation and influencing skills with suppliers.
• Creativity across diverse sectors and customer channels.
• Proficiency in MS Office/spreadsheets and stock management software.
